Falling in Love Again! - Love never leaves, it simply changes form

At Jaisalmer’s midnight carnival, Mairah wandered, drawn by a scent rich and intoxicating - a heady mix of Clove and Oud, warm and intense, wrapped in whispers of patchouli. 

Memories stirred, and she followed the scent to a hidden stall glowing softly under the desert moon, until she found an old man seated beside a flickering lantern, surrounded by tiny vials of attar. His face was lined with age, but his eyes sparkled with an uncanny warmth.

“Searching for something lost?” he asked, holding up a vial labelled ‘Love Again.’ Intrigued, Mairah took the bottle, and as she inhaled, memories of love she’d lost flooded back - moments filled with laughter, the quiet warmth of shared silences, and the bittersweet ache of goodbyes.

Seeing her expression, the old man smiled knowingly. “Love never leaves—it simply changes form.” he said softly, his voice like desert wind.

Mairah looked up, realizing that love still lived within her, woven into the memories that this fragrance had brought back to life. In that moment, wrapped in the fragrance, love kindled again, like embers brought back to life beneath the Jaisalmer stars.

She left the stall, heart lighter, feeling love’s gentle presence in the night air.
